Lists with Dant Book. May 26, Sarah Brocious rated it really liked it Shelves: I found this story beautifully articulate and sad Not the sad that makes you depressed but the kind that makes your heart ache. A Love Beyond Time is mysterious.
The parallels created between two very different times was beyons enjoyable! Dante spins a tale of nothing less than supernatural romantic genius. I don’t dabte to give too much away, but I will say that Dante’s mastery of raw characterization and illuminating exposition are put to brilliant use in A Love Beyond Time, especially in the “dream” sequences.
A quintessential summer read! My craddodk was caught in moments of flutter, sadness, and hope for the two souls in this novel. With the dreams taking over her life, she seeks help from therapist and even a regression hypnotist.
I would recommend this novel to anyone that wants a refreshing take of true love. Jul 31, A. Johnson rated it really liked it. First novel in the series by Dante Craddock. Interesting story of love and two souls coming together again after being torn apart, the endurance of True Love. Likable characters, good descriptive, and an enjoyable read. Oct 14, Caroline at Book Geek rated it really liked it Shelves: I hate the fact the reading has taken a back burner and so the length of time is not always a reflection on the book however I want to say that I started this book at the end of March some time, and some night’s I think, I’ll read a little but then I remembered I wasn’t that into the book and just went to sleep.
Last Friday I was sat in my car waiting for my Dad because he was sorting his pigeons out and timd on reading regardless of the fact that I felt the plot was slow. I never give up on a book because there is always something niggling saying ‘keep going’ So I picked it back up around craddcok point where our main character Ashley, exhausted from craddcok, is in her dantee with her boyfriend and friends generally having a night in when she’s drawn to watch the news and BAM we have movement in the story, away from reading about her suffering sleep and collecting the pieces of the puzzle to, lets say, getting the outer edge vraddock.
Instantly we know that we’re getting somewhere and after that, it is an even paced roller coaster ride. We find out more about Gavin and that her dreams are memories. She’s been remembering the life of Gavin all this time. How he died and how he felt, we experience both sides through her. We also learn about his love interest sorry, I’m calling her Gen because my kindle isn’t to hand and can’t think or begin to spell it and the story itself, along with Gavin and Gen’s story gets interesting.
Sure, I’ve had time travel but this is about two past souls hopefully reconnecting even though it’s years later. I’m also interested in the fact craddock Neil has seen a ghostly woman. He’s not a believer in the supernatural and so far, hasn’t been a major participant in the ancient memories so it’s got me puzzled. I’d also like to know how he’s got over someone he loves so quickly! I’m thinking about memorising her words and blurting them at people as I type.
It’s a great plot and theory, I just needed more action at the start to keep me glued to it. I’m now getting that and Can’t wait to finish the story. I feel like a lot of the energy went bejond the story at the start, explaining and cradddock up to it that at the end the author kind of rushed it and skimmed parts, but then again I’m unable to put my finger on what it was missing. I guess it could be the chemistry veyond Alex and Ashley.
It also came to my attention that Ashley was quite abrupt with the way she spoke to Alex, she chucked a hell of a lot at him beyonf wanted miracles to happen, when you knew it wouldn’t. She expected a lot. Because of that, I couldn’t give the book 5 nerd glasses, I only 4 because as a whole the story and theories within it where good. It was a new concept to me and one that I’d like to read more of so I’m looking forward to getting my hands on the next one A love beyond time is a great alternative if you like time travel, which in theory it has an essence to it, and would recommend to anyone who likes that genre.
Jul 01, Mary Brown rated it it was amazing. If all three books are dantee good as this first book, then the whole series will be dantd real winner. She dreams of a man that is trapped in the bottom of a boat and his subsequent drowning. She also has dreams of the woman who loves him.
A Love Beyond Time (Power of Love Quartet, #1)
She does not know why she is having these dreams and what they mean, but she does know that the dreams are wreaking havoc on her life. Will she ever be able to find the answers to her questions and find out how the answers will affect her?
The characters are well developed, well rounded and have very many human traits. The writing style flows easily and the book is a quick read. Beyodn writing style is very descriptive and it is almost impossible to not feel like you are right there in the story, watching things first hand.
This is one of the things I like best about this book. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a heartwarming love story. ccraddock
Grab this book, which is the first in the series, and go along for a romantic journey. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. Jul 03, Charlotte Lynn rated it really liked it. The paranormal of A Love Beyond Time intrigued me. The fact that Ashley has memories from a man who lived and died so long ago and how real they felt kept me reading.
I wanted to know who the man was, why was his memories coming to her, and who was Alex. The fact that Ashley did not let these memories go, she did what she needed to find out the answers that she really needs. Then she follows her heart and traipses across the US to find the love of her life, who she has never met.
Ashley kept me entertained and wondering what she was going to find herself into next. Their friendships were the truest kind of friendship. They knew when to push and when to step back from each other. Even across the country they could interact and support each other when needed. I could not put the book down. I truly enjoyed reading it and am looking forward to the rest of this series.
Paranormal-Ghost, True Love, Clean Romance Ashley started having dreams and goes through a journey to find out the meaning and how it pertains to her. This is an amazingly detailed book that transports you to a different time and place. That is how I felt the first half of the book.
The story moves to completely to modern day and I felt like I was reading a different book. I felt the events following didn’t have the same feel or flow as the first half. I didn’t connect at all with Ashley and Alex, Paranormal-Ghost, True Love, Clean Romance Ashley started having dreams and goes through a journey to find out the meaning and how it pertains to her.
I didn’t connect at all with Ashley and Alex, plus some of the actions and events left me unbelieving and questioning. At any rate, Ashley and Alex did get a HEA and there are many loose ends that will probably be addressed in the follow-up book.
I really hate I did not enjoy this more, it had a great start but just simply ran out of steam or just maybe I’m not that deep Ashley Brannock was an ordinary girl, living an ordinary life.
That is, until she started having dreams, they consumed her as she tries everything to figure out what they mean and why.
